#LondonLife
So I finally went down to London to visit my boys Aakash and Saiem at UCL. I'd already been Birmingham a few times so I thought it was only fair to come London and experience the London Life.
As I decided quite late that I was going to go, I got the coach instead of train as it was cheaper (I know typical Indian henneh). The coach was kind of long, especially with traffic and all but its cheap so :) I got into London and I used the underground tube to get to St Pancras where I was getting picked up. Its been a long time since I've been to London and remembered what a cool feeling it was to use the tube...(I find it hard to comprehend the level of infrastructure London has, I mean how long must it have taken to build such a complex network of rail links!?)
I got to St Pancras where I met Saiem followed by Aakash...I was reunited with the main bros!!! We were reunited, I could just feel the buzz..shit was going down haha :D
Just before we went out that night, Saiem decided to cook some roast potatoes as he was hungry. However, as he took them out of the oven, the rest of us started to dig in, while he went and threw one at the wall (because he's just that guy). It was so random I mean he hadn't drank anything yet, it was jus a typical Saiem moment. Anyway, we left for pre session which was at another building. We got there and starting drinking straight away. My first shot was of Ciroc, followed by one of Grey Goose...it was the first time I had tasted "good vodka"...it was way better than what I normally drink, but still tasted pretty rubbish haha. So after a few drinks, we went to Ministry of Sound via tube (yes that's right, catch a train to a club...only in London). Unfortunately, I wasn't drunk enough to properly enjoy the night, which meant it started to drag, and my foot was also hurting so it wasn't the best night. But still, it was fun partying with my bro's!!!! Also we got the bus back to the flat (only in London lol).
As my foot was hurting, we decided not to go out clubbing for the remainder of my time there, but we still had jokes. The next 2 days consisted of some valuable chill time with the 2 bro's, as I hadn't seen them in 5 months. Aakash took ages to get ready (2 and a half hours and no that's not a joke) but it was cool, as he cooked for all 3 of us. The meal consisted of lamb curry, chicken curry, 4 tortillas each, a salad bowl each, and then rice i.e. #ReasonsWhyAakashIsBae :) The meal was great but then it took 2 hours to clean up, especially because Aakash didn't let me wash the dishes because he says I "Ebola wash" them. Saiem didn't help out like a twat, but we got our own back...we went to his room and fell asleep on his bed, meaning he had no where to sleep looooooool.
We also made a trip to Oxford Street was also really cool. I had this stupid plan of spending £400 or more, just because I was in London and it seemed cool at the time. In the end that plan (thankfully)failed and I only bought 2 items. The best part of my trip to Oxford Street was easily my visit to the famous Hamley's Toy Store...IT WAS KID HEAVEN :) :) I walked inside and found my self mesmorised by all the cool things. I even took a selfie with a £3000 bear lol. The store was 6 floors of pure magic, the kind you only see in the movies yet this time its real. Each floor had a theme and I wanted to buy so many things!! Aakash recommended I buy the Gigantic milkshake from the top floor. I did and was BLOWN AWAY!! It was diabetes, sex and joy all in one cup...the best £7 I've spent in a long time!!
Before I knew it, my time in London was over, with the last day flying by, but it did turn out to be eventful. Me and Aakash
